Putting you at the heart of change

Take part in WM+ME, WMUK’s ground-breaking research project to improve your treatment options and care.

WM+ME asks you – WM patients – to wear a free smartwatch and record your daily symptoms and general health in a specially designed app, giving researchers a valuable and unique insight into what it is like to live with WM in the UK.

The project, in partnership with data platform Sanius Health, puts you at the heart of change, ensuring improvements to treatment and care are in your interests. Your data – the information recorded by your watch and app – will be collected and analysed to help researchers and clinicians better understand the disease, how treatments affect you and your WM, and your quality of life. All the information will then inform us on ways we can improve your care.

Who can take part?

Anyone diagnosed with Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinaemia (WM) or lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL) in the UK can register to take part.

We’re looking for 100-150 WM patients at all stages in their WM journey (newly diagnosed, on active monitoring, on treatment, in a clinical trial or in palliative care) to take part in this pilot project and provide the broadest possible picture of living with WM in the UK.

It’s simple to sign up. Simply register your interest on the button below and you’ll be guided through the process by a dedicated project team who are on hand to answer any questions you may have.

This is a pilot project, and the places will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. If you miss out, don’t worry. We have plans to role out a larger study based on the results of this pilot and we will add you to our waiting list so you’re the first to know about it.
